WELCOME BACK FELLOW METALHEADS!
doommetal.com has finally been relaunched. I want to apologize for this long absence but life isn't fair every now and then... The search for an appropriate webhoster hasn't been easy and there have been other things I had to fight with. The new website actually is the old one as some of You might have noticed. I just focused on technical issues, so far. Content updates and some redesign will follow the next days.
Doommetal.com is also going to host some bands' websites in the future! So be prepared ;)

The Album
ACID DOOM ALERT! Although this album isn't their most recent output, it's still Orodruin's visiting card of their intriguing retro-stoom style which is of eponymous means.
Combining downtuned guitars, a haunting organ and a gurgling bass which is actually reminiscent of Kyuss and Dozer and a powerful yet emotional drumming, these US-based monster doomsters show us how to play doom METAL with class. Consisting of 9 tracks, the entire album has no weak song (and yeah, it's about SONGS!) at all, each track being a top-notch doom metal hymn which they already proved with their excellent and ambitious live performance.
Supported by the awesome epic voice in a Bedemon'ish and Pentagram-reminiscent style, 'Epicurean Mass' contains songs you'll never forget and which deserve being listed in a top-10 doom metal hall-of-fame such as Burn the Witch, Pierced By Cruel Winds or the title track. But I guess everyone picks his own favorite song...
Anyone who likes obscure Proto-Doom like Pentagram, psychedelic epic doom like Last Chapter or Solitude Aeturnus or even straight ahead stoner rock like Kyuss should move his ass to the next record shop, equipped with a fair amount of money to grab this masterpiece of rock music - and maybe their other releases, if available ;)
